DJ : Listener's question No.1 - What's the theme of 'evergreen' ?

hyde : Ummm... When I was writing this song... in June, yes, it was before summer, one of my old friend died. We weren't very close but he was the bassist of my first band. We only played a couple times but we kept in touch .. as he lived in Osaka and he played in another band.@I knew he was ill.. he was in hospital many times..and he's gone now.. (I wanted to describe) his thought ?? He was married then. I imagined what he was thinking about his wife before he died. So the song sounds.. very warm, filled with lots of love.

DJ : I was wondering that the song was about hyde himself.. but , oh, that was the story behind it..

DJ : Listener's question No.2 - Haido san, you went to abroad recentry, is that for recording 'evergreen' ? Plse tell me when the song was made. As hyde said... In June, the image of the song came into the head, and then .. ??

hyde : .. I went to abroad only for recording it. I could see the finishing of the song before going there so recording was done so fast.

DJ : How was English food ? I heard many things ...

hyde : Yes, I know what you mean but I have never eaten something taste bad ! (really?? haha.. : liv)

DJ : If there was a problem, what was it ??

hyde : Taxi. It's so hard to pick it up in the westend. It always occupied with somebody. (laugh) Long time ago, I went there with the band, there were many taxis on the road but alll occupied, so I said Te-chan "Shall we walk to our hotel ?" te-chan looked little bit angry so I thought I MUST get one to go back to the hotel. (laugh)

DJ : What kind of song will be a coupling of 'evergreen' ?

hyde : The coupling song is 'evergreen'... I sang in English and the music is slightly different. The song is more simple but very good finishing.. that was a kind of problem. The main song should be better than a coupling, but the song was too good... It something like a baby.. born with remarkable talent ! (laugh)
