-The thoughts about the title-
I decided the title of the song nearly end of the recording.. After I wrote words in English, lynne chan (his english teacher) put the title for the song by himself. Although it came 'evergreen' in the most important part of the song, I thought the word was not right for the title. One meaning of 'evergreen' is 'forever' but the song is about dying a person.. I was thinking to call it something like... 'Flower in the water' and looking for right word in English. However, I reallised that 'forever' exsists in every moment.. It's quite deep.
For that reason, I decided to call it 'evergreen'.
-The way to listen 'evergreen'-
umm.. It depends.. I want you listen the song any way you like .. ummm.. maybe it's better to listen it in walkman? That song is not like the song listening in the party or listening loudly in the car. (laugh) If I found the car like that, that's quite funny. (laugh)
I feel good if you are imagining your own story while listening.. that's one of the reasons why I wrote words in Japanese. I wanted you to understand the words first of all. That's the song for single CD as well so I wrote words that easy to understand. The first lyrics I wrote was a little bit complicated.. I made it as clear as possible.
