-The words in 'evergreen'- One of my friend died when I was writing lyrics of evergreen. He was a member of the band which I formed at the first time. I knew that he was ill but he didn't stop to play. Yes, I was keeping in touch with him. ...and I heard that he was going to hospital again... I didn't talk to him for a while after that.. When i started to worry about him, I received a message telling me he died.. Then i... I knew his email address so I sent a messege to him... i knew that it was no worth sending it then, but I wanted to say something to him,.. wanted to say the last word to him. I felt bad if i didn't. A few weeks later, i recieved a reply. ...it's not a scary story, (smile) but yes, ..it was an atmosphire like that for that moment..., anyway, i opened the mail then I found that was from his wife. I didn't know he had wife. She sent it to me to say 'thank you'. I felt that was very sad ... He died not alone but left his most loving person.. i reallised that the first time and I considered about it very deeply... Because I didn't know that sort of thing... As I said, I was thinking about the lyrics of evergreen that time, so I tried to write about what had been in his mind before he died. .. what can i say... I wouldn't say that I speak it for him, or he must had been thinking like this. It's more like, If I was he, I would think and say like this.
