RE:'HELLO'

I made some songs like I've done in ROENTGEN but I couldn't write good songs, or I didn't enjoy it. I didn't have a passion that I had when I made ROENTGEN. So I started to make some songs that's more fast for a change. That was fun. I realised that the songs I wanted to make was something I wanna play live.

'HELLO' is one of the songs I made in the beginning of the year. While I was writing songs, I kept thinking about my fans. I wanted to see them so much because it almost 2 years since I stopped playing live. Especially, 'HELLO' is the song I poured that desire into. If you feel that in the song, I'll be happy.

There were some songs that would be the single but I knew that it will be out in June so I chose this one.
I had a lot of new experience while recording. Taking my guitar play for example. It wasn't the first time but nearly the first... In Roentgen, I asked the studio musician to play, so it was something different as if I'm playing in a new band.

RE: c/w 'The Other Side'

While I was writing songs for an album, I want to have a song it's heavy. I wrote it quite easily. I think this song is good. It might be too good as a coupling song. I like singing in English so I want to use it as much as I can. I prefer listening English rather than Japanese, though I feel I should sing in Japanese for the single so that people understand easily.

'The Other Side' is competely different from 'HELLO'. If 'HELLO' pointed 12 o'clock, 'The Other Side' pointed 6. The remaining songs in the alubm pointed the other times. I chose this song for the coupling because I didn't want you expect that all the songs in the album would be like 'HELLO'.
